Immaculate Eggception Bath Bomb - Lush Review

The Immaculate Eggception Bath Bomb is a large bath bomb released as part of the Lush Easter Range. It can be cracked open and used in up to three separate baths or used to create one luxurious bathing experience.

This bath bomb comes in two colours. There is the Yellow 'no yoke', which is shaped as a large easter egg decorated with pretty green flowers. Then there is also the Pink 'great eggpectations', brilliantly displaying one side of yellow dots and the other with blue dots. When split open we find a hidden surprise inside, the pink egg hatches a little yellow chicken and the yellow egg a cute white bunny.
I chose the yellow egg to review, though it was a very hard choice, I loved the bright cheerful colour and I'm a fan of anything with flowers. Though it is said to smell and react the same way as the yellow, I may have to try the pink before it goes out of stock, to see for myself if I notice any differences. Being a large and pricey Bath Bomb it is a great idea that it can be spread between baths, however I wanted to see what it was like at its full effect, so chose to make one glorious heaven.

They are both fragranced with a sweet, citrus aroma that will leave you feeling uplifted, rejuvenated and ready for Spring. Made up of a blend of Fair Trade Vanilla Absolute, which offers a comforting scent, Grapefruit Oil to clear the mind and refresh the body and Lemon Oil which is used for its cleansing and soothing qualities. This works wonders by helping you unburden the mind, brighten the spirit and awaken the senses. This will offer so many benefits, preparing you for the lively and busy time of year that is about to start.

Once hitting the water, this bath bomb really blossoms into life. The outer shell quickly fizzes away releasing peaks of green as it dissolves. Our little bunny sprints around dashing out of sight quickly and leaving nothing but its pink/red little nose behind for just a moment as a reminder.

The fragrance intensifies and covers the room in a bright, sunny atmosphere. Spring is truly in the air. This reviving aroma is cheering and inviting and lasts throughout your soak, clinging to your skin even after you have stepped out of the tub.

This bath bomb is a beautiful release to celebrate Easter and the start of spring. I highly recommend it for getting rid of any winter blues and kick starting a positive new season. Your mind and body will  be soothed and refreshed and your skin will be left soft and cleansed.

I have really loved the Easter Range, the vibrant colours and stunning fragrances brightens my mood. These would make a perfect present for Easter, for those who you would like to give something a little different.

Remember these are limited editions, so get down to your local store and get yourself a treat before they are gone. You can also purchase them and the rest of the Easter Range online here:
