Kingsley Kouture

I am such a big fan of novelty earring, something bright and fun can take an outfit to a whole new level. So when I was offered a collaboration with the lovely Kingsley Kouture I was so excited. She asked me what kind of style I would like and when I said anything big and bold she assured me she had just the stuff, and when my beautiful parcel arrived I can only say I was not disappointed.

Kingsley Kouture is a Retro Jewellery, Accessory and Clothing brand based in Nottingham. The Owner Victoria originally started out making skirts for herself, like many of us she found through life, illness and loss her weight would fluctuate. After the loss of her brother to suicide she gained more weight and wanting to make something meaningful and positive from her experience, she worked out a way to make skirts that could fit from a size 10 up to 28. She began by making for family and friends and then moved on to selling at conventions and craft fayres.

Now expanding her business, Kingsley Kouture have began creating quirky Jewellery, which she sells online and stocks at The Arcade Treasure Chest in Nottinghamshire. She later hopes to add men's shirts and to make a large variety of size inclusive clothing at an affordable price. Kingsley Kouture is not just a business, it is full of heart. Victoria has taken the ups and downs of life we can all relate to and made them into hope. She has used her grief of losing her brother into a message of support for others that suffer and she hopes to one day release a line of jewellery to raise awareness of suicide and to donate the profits to a charity in the name of her brother.
Kingsley Kouture was kind enough to send me six earring and brooch sets, each one unique, fun and colourful. There was a Strawberry, Daisy, Lime, Octopus, Poodle and Shamrock designs. Each one was well made, with beautiful colours most including glitter, which is always a plus to me. They were all studded earrings with secure backs and the brooches were easy and sturdy to attach. I love how inventive the drops are on some of them, with the stalks being the attached area leading to the fruit dropping for example, this was really different than other novelty jewellery I have had and it really delighted me.

I can not tell you how much I have loved my experience with Kingsley Kouture, these pieces have become a well used part of my collection. Their Jewellery is well made, creative and comfortable to wear. I highly recommend checking them out, their designs definitely stands out and their prices are amazing. For now their earrings average at £10 and their Brooches at £6. Make sure to get them while you can. You can find them on Facebook, Instagram or on their Website. They also have some very exciting news to come, so make sure to keep an eye on their page.

For any Halloween lovers, I am also very excited to see their upcoming Halloween Collection and have already ordered their Poison Apple Set.

Thank you to Kingsley Kouture for collaborating with me, Thank you to Stu Vincent for his Photography Skills and Thank you so much for reading my post. Do let me know if you have your eye on anything from Kingsley Kouture and don't forget to share pictures of your purchases.

  2. Retro Jewellery's story of resilience and inclusivity resonates deeply. Victoria's journey, from personal struggles to creating versatile skirts accommodating sizes 10 to 28, showcases empowerment through adversity. In this spirit, she inspires us to embrace change and diversity. As Victoria embraced challenges, let us embrace assignment writing service in UK with determination and creativity, just like she did with her craft.
