Leaving no time for the excitement to die down from the Valentines release, Lush has now launched their Mothers Day Range for 2016. Seeing previews of cute, sunny products always catches my attention and I could not wait see and smell these items in person. What better way to show your Mother figure how much they are loved, then gifting them an item that says, let yourself be looked after too.

We've all been a little sad saying goodbye to Lush's discontinued list, but as we were promised, it was to make room for some new fabulous products. We all know that Lush like to surprise us. They evade confirming anything and tease us with little hints, but really isn't this the exciting build up we love?!

I was so heartbroken when I heard Lush had this massive store full of exclusive products opening, and I was far too pregnant to travel to see it! So after my visit to Gorilla perfumes for their 1st Birthday, I thought I would take the opportunity to pop in to Lush Oxford Street and finally see what everyone has been talking about!

So with Fathers Day fast approching and recently delivering my new little man (on June 4th), I thought it would be a perfect time to dedicate a post to the special men in our lives. We often forget that even the strongest of men need caring for too, and when it comes to treating them they deserve just as much pampering as the rest of us.

I love a variety of fragrances. Some scents I prefer for the particular feelings they invoke, and others for the memories. It may sound strange but scents are important to me. I love the smell after it rains; the smell of my child and the scent of my husband. They all remind me of different emotions such as love, safety and comfort. So when it comes to choosing a suitable fragrance for bath time, it needs to be more than just a "nice smell" it needs to wrap me in the atmosphere I desire.

What I really love about Lush is how the whole brand has a friendly personality. It's like meeting a new friend and realising you both have the same weird sense of humour. Another thing I really value in a friend is kindness. I really love the little things in life, I admire anyone and anything that's purpose is to bring a smile to someones face, even if it is a terrible joke/pun or a fun item made to make something some people may struggle with a little easier.

The Bunch Of Carrots Bubble Bar is the most unusual and most adorable bubble bar I have ever seen. It is a special edition released as part of the Lush Easter Range. Another thing that makes this so unique is that it can be dried out and reused in a number of baths.

This is where my love for Lush started. I had never tried any of their products before a friend gifted them to me. I realised this is exactly what I needed. It may seem trivial but it has made such a difference. Products that are beautiful and delight me, that make me take 'Me Time' and also have wonderful ingredients that look after my skin and heal my mind. So now I want to write this blog as a big recommendation for other Mummas, who may need extra help relaxing. This is a post of my own personal imaginings if I got to create a Lush pregnancy bundle.

So if you read my last blog you will remember I said how I chose to brighten up my bath, already consisting of the strikingly fruity Blackberry Bath Bomb. It had worked magic at easing my troubled mind but what I needed now was something to put the sparkle back in my step. So the Sunnyside Bubble Bar seemed like just the perfect answer.

I am a big fan of anything glittery, as my tagline says "if all else fails, Cover it in glitter" this can be a metaphor for making the best out of a bad situation, being positive and making things go your way or in this case literally having a big shiny Bubble Bar covered in glitter to cheer you up when you're feeling down. I am aware though that this may not be everyones idea of a fun bath, but I can reassure you this is not a glitter that clings to the skin.

The Comforter Bubble Bar has quickly become a turn to comforter for me. So I can certainly understand where it has got its name from. In appearance this Bubble Bar is a vivid pink with soft swirls of white, It almost has a velvet look to it. It is large and solid which could also emphasis the safety and reassurance it represents.

Just the scent makes you melt, It is one of my most favoured fragrances from Lush. Blended from a mixture of calming Cypress Oil, uplifting Bergamot Oil and and comforting Cassie Absolute, this Bubble Bar offers a warming and soothing experience.

I am so excited to see my first Easter at Lush, I went to visit my local Lush store today and it really was like a big holiday celebration, lots of beautiful colours, lots of delicious smells and lots of laughter and chatting. I ran around like a small child at Christmas so excited and finding it hard to know what to choose! Luckily the lovely Staff at Lush Northampton are always happy to help and have an abundance of love and knowledge about the products they sell. So let me show you what I purchased from The Lush Easter Range!
