Lush Mothers Day Range 2016

Leaving no time for the excitement to die down from the Valentines release, Lush has now launched their Mothers Day Range for 2016. Seeing previews of cute, sunny products always catches my attention and I could not wait see and smell these items in person. What better way to show your Mother figure how much they are loved, then gifting them an item that says, let yourself be looked after too.

It was love at first site when I first saw the Ladybird. This cute little bubble bar, as the name suggests is shaped like a cute red and purple Ladybird. This scent is unlike anything I have smelt from Lush before. It is made from a blend of invigorating Peppermint Oil and restoring Geranium Oil. This mixture was a hard to imagine working, but upon smelling it for myself I was not disappointed. I love this product, the fragrance has become one of my favourites, the water is turned a beautiful deep red and even when only using half, the bath if filled with lots of luscious bubbles.

The Rose Bombshell is back again this year, with big changes. It is no longer a simple white ball, but instead a brilliant pink, decorated with swirls of pink roses and green leaves. When dropped into the water, this bath bomb surprises you with a burst of yellow rose petals. To make these changes even more magical, Rose Bombshell now shares its fragrance with Ro's Argon products, such as the Rose Jam Bubble Bar and Ro's Argon Body Conditioner. It is created with a mixture of restorative Rose Absolute, toning Geranium Oil, cleansing Sicilian Lemon Oil and balancing Rose Oil.

Yummy Mummy is also back again this year, but now as a Shower Cream. I absolutely adored last years shower gel, so was excited to see what it would be like in its reformulated state. This pastel purple and wonderfully moisturising product is created from sweetly scented Tonka Absolute, refreshing Brazilian Orange Oil and toning Geranium Oil. It also shares its fragrance with Strawberry Feels Forever Massage Bar, D'Fluff Shaving Cream and Yummy Yummy Yummy Shower Gel.

Flowering Tea is a reusable bubble bar on a string, it is made to look like a tea bag and contains beautiful blue cornflowers. As a big fan of tea and flowers this product really appeals to me. It has been available in the Oxford Street Lush, but it is only for Mothers Day that we can now get our hands on it at our local stores. It is created with a blend of antiseptic Rosewood Oil, toning Neroli Oil and uplifting Orange Flower Absolute.

Sunrise is a bright citrus soap, inspired by the Sun. Shaped like the Red Planet itself this soap is created to brighten our moods. Packed full of refreshing Sicilian Mandarin Oil, toning Tangerine Oil and cleansing Bergamot Oil. Though it has a hard orange and yellow outer shell, it also has a soft centre made from Murumuru butter and Organic Silken Tofu to protect and moisturise the skin.

Finally, I have been so impressed with the Gift Sets Lush has been releasing, and Mothers Day is no exception. There are six stunning presents, ranging from £10.95 to £35.50. These contain a beautiful selection of Mothers Day products and some of the regular favourites.

And lets not forget, if you are a fan of Lush Knot Wraps, there are also two in the release, made with Greenspun fabric, a recycled material made from plastic bottles.

Thank you for reading my blog, what do you think of this years Mothers Day range? and what are your favourite products?
