Wiccy Magic Muscles Massage Bar - Lush Review

Now I am on the last month of my pregnancy, I am really starting to feel the aches and pains. While at my Lush Baby Shower (which I posted about in my last blog) I picked up the Wiccy Magic Muscles Massage Bar, and I must say it really lives up to its name. It has become a turn-to pain relief every time I am struggling and in need of comfort.

In appearance, the Wiccy Magic Muscles Massage Bar is an oval bar of essential oils. One side is smooth butter, which slowly melts when it reaches body temperature, while the other is embedded with bumpy Aduki Beans to work out any stubborn knots. Not only do these bars loosen up stiff achy muscles, but they also offer a solid form of moisturiser.

The fragrance is a spicy peppermint and cinnamon. It isn't overpowering, but a well balanced blend that creates a warming and comforting effect. It can be quite heady, but I feel it offers a relaxing and soothing experience. It seeps through your body, caressing away all of your stresses and pain.

It is designed to offer a variety of beneficial qualities using a range of gorgeous ingredients and fragrances. There is a blend of moisturising Organic Jojoba Oil; conditioning Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter; as well as Peppermint Oil and Cinnamon Leaf Oil to warm and stimulate the circulation.
Along with the aromatic effects of the Wiccy Magic Muscles Massage Bar, the benefits of massage itself are also fantastic for your health. It is believed to: ease aches and pains; boost the immune system; reduce sleep disturbance; lift the mood; and relieve stress.

The Lush massage bars works by rubbing the solid bar between your palms or directly onto the skin until it reacts with the heat. Using the smooth side to massage, rub the moisturising butter into your skin, and then turn to the beaded side to work the muscles. You can use your hands (or someone else's) to also massage in any left over oil.

Once the Wiccy Magic Muscles Massage Bar was applied to my skin, I felt soothed and tranquil. The Peppermint tingled, stimulating my blood circulation and unwinding my knotted muscles. My skin was also softened and moisturised with a lingering fragrance with lasted well into the next day.

I loved this Massage Bar! It has firmly secured a place in my favourites list. I have used it for the last three days and there is still several more uses left. Some people are put off by the fact the beans will come loose as the bar is used up, however, I do not think the bar would be as effective without them.
I highly recommend trying this bar. It is perfect after a hard day when you just want to unwind, and the moisturising effects add that extra magical touch. You can purchase the Wiccy Magic Muscles Massage Bar by popping down to your local Lush store, or visiting them online.
