Lush Milton Keynes Christmas Blogger Event!

I am one of those annoying people that love Christmas and all its sparkles. So when I got an invite to Lush Milton Keynes Christmas blogger event (showcasing their winter range) in September, I did not do the 'Christmas stuff already' rant that some people do, instead I skipped around the house thinking of all the beauties that would be revealed this year.

When we arrived Christmas was truly in the air and everyone had caught on to the spirit of things. The staff were sporting cheerful Christmas jumpers, their faces were decorated with glitter and Christmas music was playing in the background. Everyone got a chance to introduce themselves and their blogs/youtubes, and we were split into three groups to be shown around.

In our groups we gathered around each section and with great anticipation waited for the beautiful Lush scarfs to be lifted. We were first shown; the dusting powders, the lip scrub, the lip tint, the new christmas moisturiser and the fun bars. We were also showed the new jelly and shower cream to celebrate Halloween too! The products I got to see and try out were:

  • Celebrate - a festive body lotion that smells of citrus and cognac.
  • First Snow - a dusting powder sharing the same fragrance as celebrate. Leaves the skin shimmering when applied.
  • Fairy Dust - a sparkling pink dust that is fragrance with Snow Fairy.
  • Santa's Lip Scrub - a gentle lip exfoliator made with lime, cherry and coconut oil.
  • Santa Baby - a festive red lip tint.
  • Snowman Fun
  • Santa Fun
  • Snaked and Ladders Fun
In the Halloween range we were shown:
  • Nightwing - a Bat shaped shower jelly that smells of lime.
  • Lord of Misrule Shower Scream, sharing the same fragrance as the bath bomb with the same name.
Before moving on we got some time to build a snow man out of the Snowman Fun!

I could not wait to get to the next section and see what shower gels, shower jellies and new soaps would be released. I was delighted to see some of my original favourites and was excited to see what was new. The christmassy goodness I got to see and sample were:

  • Snow Fairy - a much loved candy scented shower gel.
  • Rose Jam - a turkish rose fragranced shower gel, also making a return this season.
  • Christingle - a peppermint scented body conditioner, with mental crystals to stimulate the body.
  • Snowman Shower Jelly - a Snowman shaped soap in a jelly formula. Like the Snowman Fun it is fragranced with Carrot Infusion and Buchu Oil.
  • YogNog - a creamy honey comb scented soap.
  • Snowcake - a sweet marzipan fragranced soap.
  • Baked Alaska - a colourful, citrus scented soap.
  • Reindeer Rocks - a beautiful deep purple soap, sharing the same fragrance as The Comforter.
Last but in no means least, we got to explore the new bath products. There are so many new fabulous treats in this section I could barley control my excitement. The products we got to see were:
  • Candy Mountain - a pink and white swirl bubble bar sharing the Snow Fairy fragrance.
  • Holly Golightly - a large pudding shaped bubble bar, fragranced with Patchouli and Cinnamon Leaf Oil.
  • Peeping Santa - a new little strawberry Santa Bubble Bar.
  • Bar Humbug - a sweet liquorice scented Bubble Bar.
  • Snow Angel - a marzipan scented Bath Melt that leaves your bath coated in snow like shimmering foam.
  • Five Gold Rings - a reusable Bubble Bar that leaves the waters golden.
  • Magic Wand - A Snow Fairy scented, reusable Bubble Bar.
  • The Magic Of Christmas - a Cinnamon scented, reusable Bubble Bar, shaped as a wand.

  • Father Christmas - a Snow Fairy scented Bath Bomb, shaped as Santas face with a Holly Green centre.
  • Star Dust - a Star shaped Bath Bomb with Vanilla fragrance.
  • Golden Wonder - a present shaped Bath Bomb containing four smaller bath bomb presents inside.
  • Yog Nog - a warming Bath Bomb sharing the same fragrance as the soap of the same name.
  • So White - an apple scented Bath Bomb with a rose centre.
  • ButterBear - Like the ButterBall, this Bath Bomb is filled with lots of moisturising Cocoa Butter.
  • Shoot For The Stars - a beautiful midnight sky inspired Bath Bomb, sharing the same fragrance as Honey I Washed The Kids.
  • Cinders - a Cinnamon scented Bath Bomb, with popping candy to imitate a crackling fire.
  • Dashing Santa - a fruity citrus scented Bath Bomb shaped as a Santa Dashing to make his deliveries.
After we had been introduced to all the bathing pruducts, we got to see a demonstration of the Shooting Stars Bath Bomb, and then a Cocktail of the Cinders Bath Bomb and The Magic Of Christmas Bubble Bar (a cocktail I will be trying real soon).
The Halloween items in this section Included the:
  • Sparkly Pumpkin - a cheerful citrus Bubble Bar, shaped as a little Pumpkin
  • Lord Of Misrule - like the shower cream, this Bath Bomb is fragranced with Black Pepper and Patchouli Oil.
There are other products such as the Luxury Lush Pud Bath Bomb, Buche De Noel Cleanser, Salt and Peppermint Bark Shower Scrub and the Cranberry Festive Facemark that had not been delivery to store at this time. There are also some Christmas products that will be exclusive to certain stores.
I had such a lovely time and can not thank Lush Milton Keynes enough for having me. We ended the day getting to do an early shop of the Winter Products as well as having a little time to chat to the wonderful Staff. Thank you to everyone I met and I hope to see you all again.
