Types of data we collect

The Powderpuff Room uses first and third party cookies for several reasons. Google Analytics
When someone visit we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the website. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting out website.  

Mailing Lists
As part of the registration process for our e-newsletter, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right to the check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations or businesses.
We use a bulk email provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve your e-newsletter. Ticketing Data and Events
When you purchase a ticket (or tickets) through the Eventbrite website they will collect your personal data. Please refer to their privacy policy for full details 
Occasionally we may gather information at our events such as your name, address, and email address. All data gathered via paper means is shredded and deposed of securely within 2 weeks of the event date.

Online Ordering and Payments
When ordering online we gather personal data that enable us to carry out our services such as name, address and email address. This information will not be included in our mailing lists without your express permission and will not be sold onto third parties.

When submitting a form on this website, the submitted data is sent to us. We use this data to contact you in relation to your enquiry. Access to data we collect is limited to the members of our staff who require that data to perform their duties.
