Lush Milton Keynes Easter Range Blogger Event!

Tomorrow I am going on holiday to Spain, and as much as I am looking forward to it, I was a little sad to think I would miss out on all the Lush wonders that will be released for Easter. Of course I can see them when I get back, but how disappointing would it be to miss out on all that pre release excitement. So luckily, with good timing, I was invited to a sneak peek on Wednesday, at the Lush Milton Keynes store, and I just couldn't miss out on such a fabulous meet up with them again.

Upon arriving were welcomed with friendly smiles and refreshing drinks. We were introduced through a friendly game of throwing jelly at each other and stating our names, blogs and favourite Lush products. As all parties should, we then played a game of treasure hunt, searching for new Easter products, wrapped and hidden around the store. one by one we opened them and got to smell and demo the product. So now let me tell you about the products we were shown, and what you will be able to buy for yourselves from today!

My love at first sight product is Humpty Dumpty, an egg shaped bath bomb, inspired by the tale of the same name. You can use him whole or crack him into three separate baths, with a little surprise inside. He is created using a blend of refreshing Brazilian Orange Oil and cleansing Bergamot Oil. He shares the same fragrance with the Honey I washed The Kids fragrance family, used in such products as Honey Bee Bath Bomb, Its Raining Men Shower Gel and Honey I Washed My Hair Shampoo Bar.

Next we see the return of the beautiful Golden Egg. As the name suggests this Bath Bomb Melt is a glittery, golden Egg, with a bath bomb centre and a soft buttery melt coating it. This product also has a sweet honey-toffee scent that is in the Honey I Washed The Kids family. It includes such ingredients as uplifting Sweet Wild Orange Oil, cleansing Bergamot Oil, protecting Olive Oil and softening Fair Trade Colombian Cocoa Butter.

Bunch Of Carrots is another product that I find simply adorable. This year, this reusable bubble bar comes with a pink, purple and orange carrot and can be used all together or separately, to create a variety of different coloured bath combinations. They are made with a mixture of uplifting Bergamot Oil, cleansing Sicilian Lemon Oil and antiseptic and anti-inflammatory Buchu Oil.

Which Came First? is another large, egg shaped bath bomb, that can be split and used more than once. It is created in the image of a large easter egg decorated with blue and yellow dots and stripes, it also has a cute little chick inside. It is made from a blend of comforting Fair Trade Vanilla Absolute, refreshing Grapefruit Oil and uplifting Lemon Oil.

I am so excited to see another favourite of mine has made a return this year, Ultraviolet. Shaped as a purple, blue and green rainbow, this large Bubble Bar can be broken up and used across a few baths. Crafter from a mixture of Violet Leaf Absolute (used to improve skin condition), Jasmin Absolute (used to treat sensitive skin),Ylang Ylang Oil (beneficial to help stress and depression) and Rosewood Oil (valued for its uplifting properties).

The Fluffy Egg is another pretty little easter egg bath bomb, It is bright pink with a candy flower decoration placed at the top. This candy fragranced product shares its scent with the much loved Christmas shower gel, Snow Fairy and Melting Marshmallow Moments Bath Melt.

We then talked through the ingredients used in the products, I always find it enjoyable learning about what is used and how they benefit the mind, body and skin. We were talked through the Lush kitchen exclusives and were finally showed the next two products, both that contains Neroli Oil, scientifically proven to make you feel content and cheerful.

Somewhere Over The Rainbow is the Soap released for Easter. Decorated with all the colours of a rainbow and sparkling with glitter, this soap if you haven't guessed it is inspired by The Wizard of Oz. It has a really subtle fragrance, for those who can find strong scents overwhelming. It is created with a blend of uplifting Sicilian Mandarin Oil, balancing Rose Absolute and uplifting Neroli Oil.

The new release Bouncing Bunny, is a cute little rabbit shaped Shower Jelly. The fragrance reminds me of a sweet mix of chocolate orange, or the middle of a jaffa cake. It is created with refreshing and rejuvenating Brazilian Orange Oil and will work wonderful and putting a bounce in your step.

We were also shown the quirky new little Easter
Pals knot wrap and five Easter Gift sets. So if you are looking for an alternative for chocolate this year, you will have so much to choose from.

I hope you enjoy this easter and get a chance to hop on down to you local store for all these wonderful products. I can't wait to get back from my holidays where I can get my hands on these lovely treats!
Thank you for reading my blog, I am really looking forward to the bouncing bunny gift set so I can have my own little Bouncing Bunny Jelly and the exclusive Bunny Bath bomb! Do comment and let me know what your wishing for?!

Also thank you to Lush Milton Keynes for having me again and for my little goodie bag. I always enjoy my time with you and your lovely staff
