Luckily I am blessed enough to have some very special friends, who surprised me with my own little Powder Puff Gift set. Though I have never really used a Deodorant Powder before, this connection with one of my favourite beauty companies was enough to make me want this Lush luxury.
The Powder Puff Deodorant Powder is used by sprinkling a small amount into your hands and lightly dusting under the arms and onto your feet. It gently absorbs, keeps you cool and leaves you skin feeling soft.
It's fragrance is a bewitching floral scent. Created with a blend of softening and absorbent Cornstarch, calming and soothing Dried Red Rose Petals and nourishing Rose Absolute. The Rose scent is sweet and beautiful. It is not over powering but is still present hours later.
I don't often need to use deodorants so I can't fully comment on the effectiveness of this powder. I guess it would be different for everyone depending on how much you perspire. How ever having worn it on some really warm days it has kept me dry and cool through out. I have heard some people say they have needed to re-apply every few hours, but I have found once in the morning suits me.
What I really love about these Powders is the variety of uses they have. As well as a Deodorant, it can be used as a dusting powder to dry up any unwanted moist patches and can also be used as a dry shampoo when your hair needs a little freshening up.
I mostly use the Powder Puff Deodorant Powder for my hair. You can simply puff some into your hands or directly on to the hair and work through with a brush. This is perfect to not only fragrance the hair, but also to soak up any oil in between washes.
I'm so glad I got to try this lovely powder, i've never before had a deodorant that I have felt really comfortable wearing. I also love be able to brush it through my hair and smelling the gorgeous rose aroma throughout the day.

- Rose Absolute is used for its soothing and moisturising qualities. It is used in aromatherapy to uplift the mood and restore balance.
