Original Clear Balm - Dr. PAWPAW Review

I started this blog as a reminder to take care, but like many others I often have times when I get so busy I neglect myself. So it is always a delight when I find products that are designed to take care of a variety of problems quickly and easily.

Dr PAWPAW Original Clear Balm is a multipurpose balm. It is suitable to use as a lip balm, to sooth irritated skin, to moisturise cracked heels and to soften nail cuticles. It can also be used as a make-up primer and finisher. It comes beautifully packaged in a cute, summery 25ml and 200ml tube, both perfect for carrying around with you. You can even get a Tinted Peach Pink Balm and a Tinted Ultimate Red Tinted Balm to add some sheer colour to your look.

As the name suggests, the balms main ingredient is fermented Pawpaw. This is a fruit from the Carica Papaya plant which is full of vitamins and minerals, used to aid repair, moisturise, sooth and to help tighten skin. It also includes Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice used to promote youthful looking skin and hair and Olea Euopaea (Olive) Fruit Oil which is great for dry skin and hair and helps prevent damage.
  • Skin care
Dr.PAWPAW has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. It cleanses and tones the skin, treating blemishes and acting as a perfect base for skin care.

  • Lip Balm
This balm softens, protects and repairs your lips. It absorbs quickly, without leaving them feeling sticky or uncomfortable. Though lip gloss is not something I get overly excited about I do like to keep a few in my collection, as healthy lips means getting the best result from your favourite lipstick.

  • Repairing
Dr.PawPaw works wonders to soften chaps and cracks and aid in healing. Use on heels, elbows and any other places that look tired and worn. The helpful ingredients included offers many anti-inflamitory properties to reduce swelling and redness. This also makes it perfect to protect and sooth bits and stings, eczema and rashes.

  • Cosmetic care
This balm can be used as a make-up primer and finisher. It provides a protective barrier between your skin and foundation. It can also be used in eyebrow grooming, leaving the hair smooth and holding it in place. During manicures and pedicures it can even be used to soften and treat nail cuticles.

  • Parent essentials
This product is also magical for new Mamas such as myself. It can be applied to sore and cracking nipples pre and post natal. It is moisturising for the forever unpredictable skin of pregnancy. It can also be used on baby to treat dry skin after birth and can act as a barrier cream on bottoms to help nappy rash.
(Dr.PawPaw used to sooth blemishes, as make-up primer, to groom eyebrows and on lips)
Thank you for reading my blog, have you tried Dr.PawPaw and what is your favourite way to use it? I really enjoyed testing out this product, I look forward to using it again and hope to try the tinted balms in the future too.

I highly recommend it for taking care on the go, protecting your skin (after all it is put through), and repairing any skin irritations. Why not visit them on the Dr.PawPaw Website and make your mind up for yourself.
