Kerbside Violet Perfume - Lush Review

I had never tried the Lush Gorilla Perfume Range before I had heard of Kerbside Violet. It was the first fragrance to be released from the Volume 3 collection. I love the sweet, green and fresh smell of Violets, so when this perfume was announced I couldn't wait to try it.

When you first set eyes on this perfume, you are presented with the dreamy image of pretty purple violets. The perfume name is framed in a box made to look like a street sign. This little label sets the scene for the story this fragrance is waiting to tell you.

Kerbside Violet is sweet, rich and uplifting. It is a reminder to slow down and take a moment to bask in the beauty that often we miss while we are busy rushing around. It represents looking for magic in little moments and reflecting on paths not followed.

Simply spray a small amount onto your chosen pulse points to encourage the fragrance to emanate from the reaction with your body heat. Your pulse points are located on the base of your throat, your inner wrists, behind the ears, the inner elbow, behind the knees and in the cleavage.
This whimsical fragrance is created with all the magic of nature. It includes ingredients such as: skin conditioning Violet Leaf Absolute, stress relieving Ylang Ylang Absolute, muscle soothing Jasmine Absolute and uplifting Rosewood Oil.

The scent is cheerful and floral but still holds a natural earthy fragrance like smelling freshly picked Violets. Like the Ultraviolet Bubble Bar (Mothers Day 2015) which shares its fragrance, it reminds me of eating Parma Violets as a child.

Throughout the day the fragrance softens into a gentle, sweet, summery fragrance. It is a delightful mixture of floral, earthy and strong. I usually think of Gorilla Perfumes as being unisex, but this time I feel Kerbside Violet is more of a feminine scent. It perfectly representing the soft feminine side of being a women, to the earthly mothers we become and the strong fighting spirit we possess. It is refreshing and comforting as well as being encouraging and powerful. It lingers on the skin throughout the day without being smothering for the senses.

Wear this fragrance with confidence, as we are strong and beautiful like this perfume. We can thrive even hidden in the cracks of a kerbside or overwhelmed, surrounded by ugliness.

"A breath of serenity allowing you to slow down and notice the tiny revolution growing through the cracks of a concrete jungle near you."

This is another unique and stunning fragrance that I would highly recommend. It is available as a 10ml bottle, a 30ml bottle and as a 12g Solid Perfume. It is great value for money and a small amount will go along way. So why not treat yourself to this little piece of art in a bottle and pop down to your local Lush store to test it. You can also purchase in online on the Lush Website.
