Golden Egg Bath Bomb - Lush Review

I have never enjoyed Easter much, though I occasionally enjoy chocolate, it's not really something I get that excited about. So I was 'egg-static' to find out that Lush did an Easter Range and I could have lots of treats that I could enjoy and that were good for me.

I loved the Lush Easter Range, all the bright colours and gorgeous spring scents. One of the first things that drew me towards the Easter range was the the bright, shiny Golden Egg. Now I know for some people anything glittery puts them on edge, they don't want to deal with the glitter tiny up thats ensues. But for me, it spurs a childlike excitement that has me skipping around the room.

The Golden Egg is rather unique, it is not only a Bath Bomb but also coated in a buttery Bath Melt. Created with a blend of skin softening Fair Trade Colombian Cocoa Butter; refreshing Sweet Wild Orange Oil; uplifting Bergamot Oil and moisturising Fair Trade Olive Oil. It has a sweet honey-toffee fragrance, which is also shared with the Honey I Washed The Kids Soap; It's Raining Men Shower Gel and the Honey Bee Bath Bomb.

After dropping this bath bomb into a steamy tub, you can see what it has to offer. The top layer instantly begins to melt, releasing a skin-softening stream of yellow and white froth. The bath bomb begins to slowly fizz, releasing more of its beneficial ingredients. The water is transformed into a golden glittery paradise.

Once submerging yourself into this dreamy tub you are embraced by its warm, sweet fragrance. The aroma tangles itself in your hair and clings to the skin staying with you long after you leave. The soft creamy water caresses your skin, soothing the body and mind.

This bath bomb really is a special occasion. I loved everything about it, from its glittery appearance, its stunning scent, to the feeling impressed on me after leaving my tub and floating off to bed.
Remember these are only available for the Easter period, so if you would like to try one of these lovely beauties, you need to hurry down to your local Lush store and purchase one before they are all gone. If you would like to view any of the other products I have mentioned you can also view them online here:
